We cordially invite you to join SPR

SPR welcomes you

Dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge about psychotherapy and behavioral change, SPR brings together researchers, clinicians, and students from a variety of theoretical orientations (e.g., cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, integrative/eclectic, interpersonal, psychodynamic, systemic) and professional backgrounds (e.g., psychiatry, psychology, social work). Research conducted by SPR members involves a rich diversity of quantitative and qualitative methodologies (e.g., case analyses, randomized clinical trials, large naturalistic studies) and spans a variety of treatment modalities (e.g., individual, family, and group therapies), client populations (children, adolescents, adults, older adults), and clinical problems (e.g. mood disorders, anxiety disorders, conduct disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders).

The SPR offers a wide variety of resources, education and networking opportunities. Read more about specific SPR member benefits here (this should be a link that takes people to the “member benefits” section). If you are a student, clinician or researcher and you are interested in psychotherapy, we strongly encourage you to join SPR. Check here (this should be a link that takes people to the “quotes from members” section) what current SPR members find unique about the Society.
